First Deleted Scene from HBP DVD Online HBP Film A treat has arrived this morning: the first deleted scene from the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince film as made its way online and can be watched right here , as well as in our Video Galleries here . The simply chilling sequence, released by WB Italy, features a breathtaking performance by actor Alan Rickman (Severus Snape) as darkness descends upon the castle. This deleted scene is slated to be among many special extras found on the upcoming Half-Blood Prince DVD, set to be released stateside on December 8. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be released on DVD and Blu-ray next month (Amazon are currently selling the DVD for $10) and to gear people up Warner Bros. are starting to release some behind the scenes stuff, along with some deleted scenes that didn’t make it into the movie. The scene below gives us an extended look at the students and professors as the clouds darken before the Death Eaters invasion. November 10, 2009, 12:42 pm– In Warner Bros. countdown for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince DVD they have released a clip of Rupert Grint talking about his famous character, Ron Weasley. You can view the clip here. There has also been another clip showing Rupert and his co-star Emma Watson which you can view here. It’s at the end with Ron and Hermione looking out of the window. The beginning shows many clips, some deleted, from one of the last scenes in the film.

WB Italy has released the first deleted scene from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince--an eerie clip of the Hogwarts students and professors as darkness falls on the castle. Watch it here. Two other behind-the-scenes clips have also been released: Emma Watson receiving a Dark Mark and Rupert Grint summarizing the first six movies.
